The DC: 0-5 is a multi-axial classification system for mental disorders in early childhood, providing a framework for standardizing clinical practice with families of young children.
DC: 0-5™ Diagnostic Use Certificationn is designed to support providers who rovid mental health diagnoses in adopting the approach, understanding the multi-axial system, and utilizing the diagnostic and clasification system in their clinical work with children aged from birth through five.
Providers will be supported in adopting approaches to diagnosis and assessment that are developmentally informed, relationship-based, and socio-culturally attuned, utilizing the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health & Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC: 0-5) V2.0.
