ZERO TO THREE’s HealthySteps program provides early childhood development support to families where they are most likely to access it – the pediatric primary care office. HealthySteps Specialists identify whether children are reaching developmental milestones, help connect families to additional services, and answer families’ questions about child development and well-being so all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life.
HealthySteps is an evidence-based, interdisciplinary pediatric primary care program that promotes the health, well-being and school readiness of babies and toddlers, with an emphasis on families living in low-income communities.
Our Model
We identify challenges early and prevent others from happening, so that young children have a strong foundation for a lifetime of healthy development, learning, and growth.
