Pyramid Mode for Supporting the Social and Emotional Competence for Infants and Young Children is a framework of evidence-based practices to promote and support infants and young children’s early relational health (including healthy social and emotional development) and school readiness.
It is NOT a curriculum, but a compilation of best practices using techniques focused on equity and inclusion which have been proven effective within early intervention, early education programs and families.
The focus is on promoting the social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes of young children birth to five, reducing the use of inappropriate discipline practices, promoting family engagement, using data for decision-making, integrating early childhood and infant mental health consultation and fostering inclusion.
